Our team took up the challenge again this year and accompanied the recertification of commercial vehicle and fleet salespeople in the Renault dealer network in Switzerland. It’s impressive that of the 35 salespeople who were certified in 2018, 32 are still working – a figure that is clear proof of the consistency and strong commitment in the network.
Four steps to expertise – how recertification works
This year’s recertification was an intensive and practical process that is structured into four specific steps:
Interactive online tests
Sustainable knowledge is the key to success. Our recertification began with interactive multiple-choice questions, where our experienced trainers provided immediate explanations to consolidate the salespeople’s expertise. Face-to-face training with experts
Theory alone is not enough – practice is crucial! In the face-to-face sessions, we worked with renowned guest speakers, including experts from Sortimo, Waldspurger, and Fankhauser. These experts shared their expertise on vehicle bodies, interior fittings, and special conversions, giving participants practical insights and immediately implementable solutions for their day-to-day work.
Preparing for the new requirements
The third step involved specialised online training courses to prepare for certification. The focus was on the new requirements for electric vans and the WLTP standards – both crucial topics in the modern commercial vehicle sector.

The last step is the final examination at the Renault CH training centre, where realistic customer scenarios, multiple-choice tests, and interviews are carried out. The practical orientation ensures that the salespeople are optimally prepared for the daily challenges of their job.

This intensive recertification process will be completed by mid-October. The aim? To ensure that the Renault dealer network in Switzerland continues to offer top expertise in commercial vehicle and fleet sales.
